Viscount O' Neill's takes its links from the history of Antrim town itself. Viscount Lord O'Neill was the County Goverenor of Antrim during the uprising at the time of the Great Rebellion of 1798 where one of the great battles commenced in the Scotch Quarter known today as Church Street.
