Fowler Showman's Road Locomotive
Red Gauntlet
Here people are enjoying being towed by the 'Red Gauntlet' a Fowler Road Locomotive. It was built in 1920 a Type A9 and was delivered new to Brechin's Timber Contractors, linlithgoe, Scotland. It has been at Steam Rallies throughout Scotland and Northern Ireland. It is owned by William Ellis & family from Co. Carlow.
