Remember back then steam engines did not go very fast so when you had a job to do you could be away for weeks especially if you were building a main road. So sometimes the whole family went with you to some this was the only home they ever knew.
One of the famous 'Green Goddess's' it is in full working order and is used to fill the steam engine with water. It was bought from the MOD in 2006 by Shane's Castle Vintage Steam Group.
