This gives you an idea the size of the band and its members, from the young to the not so young.
At the moment no one recognizes any of the members but I do have a list of names and the instruments they received.

W.Burnett - 1 Cornet. W.McDonnely - 1 Cornet and 1 Horn. Mr.Burrowes - 1 Horn. Mr.Moody - 1 Silver Plated Baritone, 1 Side Drum. J.Carson - 1 Baritone. B.Reid - 1 Baritone. E.Johnston - 1 Baritone.
Mr.Simpson -1 Valve Trombone. Stephen Rainey - 1 Slide Trombone. James Wilson - 1 Slide Trombone. Mr.Dougall - 1 Bass. Mr.Duekey - 1 Double Bass. Mr Burrowes - 1 Double Bass. L.Thompson - 1 Bass Drum. Mr.Quigley - 1 Side Drum. Also the Conductor who is holding his silver baton. They also acquired 19 Band Stands.

The date of the photograph is around 1913 and it was taken in the Antrim Castle gardens.

Photographed at the back of High Street Presbyterian Church in High Street in 1916. As you can see not as many members, the reason being is that they were in the Army due to The First world War. Only one known in the band is in the back row called Willie Baird.

This is the day King George V was crowned 22nd June 1911 and Antrim like many other towns celebrated in style, they had eight
decorative arches which spanned the streets. The photograph was taken in the Market square and shows you
Massereene Brass and Reed Band playing to the crowds surrounding them.
To give you an idea of where they where, behind them is now Peacocks, top left hand corner you can see the railings of the
Ulster Bank and to the top right of the picture you now have the First Trust bank.

On the front of the harbour at Portrush in 1908 the crowds are listening to the Brass Band playing.
These are the members of the Massereene Brass and Reed Band outside Clotworthy House in Antrim Castle grounds on a Saturday afternoon in 1921.
At the moment the only one known is James Carson with his Baritone who is in the front row far right.

Pictured on the steps of a building in 1922 are the band are in their uniforms.
