The photographs below where taken at Clotworthy House in Antrim Castle grounds on Saturday the 7th September 2002. Admission was free and was enjoyed by everyone, I also think those who took part did as well. As you strolled around the grounds you could hear in the background the music of Glen Millar being played by a live band.
Here's a car that must bring back memories to some of the people that came. I would have loved a spin in it.
Looks like this jeep has had it's day, good job is was only make belive.
Capturing a German machine gunner!
Here's a handsome hero for any girl, sadly he had no Chewing Gum or Silk stockings with him. His name is Gary Campbell and is billeted in Templepatrick.
Now here's a pretty bunch of girls if their grandmothers were anything like them, no wonder the Americans loved it over here. On the left is Gillian Thompson, the next girl must be a secret agnent, would'nt give me her name. Our sweet nurse is Karen Jackson and smartly dressed at the end is Ashleigh Rainey.
In this photograph you can see a horse and cart. Shortly after this another traction engine blew it's whistle and startled the horse which bolted straight over the river bank and into the river. Thankfully both the horse and the driver were ok after their ordeal.
