This is Fountain Street formally known as Townhead and to this day the locals call the top of this street 'Top of the Town'. In the Past photograph you will see how the street got its name, it was when they put one of the towns water pumps here. If you look closely to your left you will see the water pump and if you are there in person see if you can find close by a green pump that the people used to get a drink from.
