This Present day photograph was taken from Church Street looking towards High Street. In the Past photo you can see that this is a Brownies Parade which took place in 1964, do you know anyone? if you do please email the details so we can bring more life to the Past photo. The ony changes between the two photos are that the house on the corner that had a Barbers and Woolen shop in it was pulled down to widen the road down into Riverside and of course the front of Orr's School has changed and is now the Library.
