As the sun sets on this day, the Battle of Antrim is over, the Untied Irishmen are beaten and in retreat. - - -Upwards of of over two hundred men, women and children died on that sunny afternoon. For once religion did not matter as men got together to fight an injustice being done to all.
Here is the grave in the old Unitarian burying-ground in Antrim town and interred here is the body of one of the men who fought in the Battle of Antrim with the following inscription:
