The reason for the delay in finishing was that they discovered a large crack not only in the Barbican Gate wall but also the Castle wall as well. As you can see from the photographs below it was well worth the wait. The contractors have done themselves proud and they are going to be starting to the Court House next so we know it is going to be an excellent job.
