Archaeological Dig
I would like to thank Gary Shaw of Antrim Borough Council for allowing me permission to not only vist the site but to take photographs. This dig is to asertain the outer walls of Antrim Castle but further digs in the grounds will be happening.

I ask people to leave the dig alone as this is history of Antrim that is being unearthed and is for the benefit of the people of Antrim, Thank you.
This was Antrim Castle before it was destroyed by arsonists.

This (B) is the outer wall of the castle and behind that is the actual castle wall.
This (C) is part of the entrance hall and this is the original paint that covered the entrance walls.
