This private graveyard is nicely secluded, in the centre is Baron Oriele's Memorial urn which the 12th Viscount Lord Massereene brought from the Oriel temple and erected in 1919 to the memory of Viscountess Margaretta. The Celtic Cross monument on the right is where the Viscount buried his daughter Diana, more of her life story is in a section of its own. The monument on the left is in memory of Lt.Col. Viscount Massereene who died in action in 1915. The entrance to the graveyard was unusual, it was formed by two giant stone Pineapples which supported two Whalebones which were nine feet in length. Where the Whalebones went to is unknown and one of the giant Pineapples was vandalized. The other one along with a copy now ordain the pillars at the entrance to the grounds as you drive in.

Just next to the Burial ground as the two photographs show the first of the two long canals. The long canal on the left is the highest one and it flows down a series of steps into the lower canal. It is really beautiful and in the summer people come here and have picnics. Also in the lower canal is a small canal which branches of to the left in this photograph.
Here through the trees is the lower canal and it is here that a lot of Brides get their wedding photographs taken.

Just a short walk up from the long canals we have the Round pond in all its Autumn glory and there also used to be in the grounds a Divorce pond. This has been filled in, why it was called this I don't know and on the right we have this little lady sunning herself beside the pond.
