All
the photos below are by Gary Shaw taken on the 5th October 2009.
Here
the Cupola is finished now the windows are in, job well done.
In these
two photographs is the newly restored chimney stack and attached to one of
the chimney pots is a lighting conductor strip.
Here
are the eves of the Court House.
These
four photographs show the beautifully restored sash windows still with the
rope as you can see in the photograph below on the left. I have been told
that a very highly sophisticated alarm system is being fitted to the windows.
Here
in the stairwell of the Court House we have the two windows on the right waiting
to restored like the one on the left.
This
is the Bridewell dwarf wall with its iron railings and beyond that is the
main stairwell entrance.
This
is the view from main entrance and you can see the underfloor heating conduit
which covers all the floors.
Here we are looking towards where the information office
and counter area will be, at least the girls won't have cold feet here!
This
upper level you are looking at is the Auditorium balcony.
This
is the view of the Auditorium from the balcony.
This
cut stone has been purchased for repairs to arches as you can see in the photograph
on the right of the stage door entrance.
