Also bolted on you can see iron brackets to strengthen and support the timber. . . . . - -Remember back then there wasn't any B&Q's stores, these would have been made by the local blacksmith, most likely the one that worked in Bridge Street.
Here the props that are supporting the roof beams are using the original wooden beams for support as well.
Here you can see the original floor beams for a room with the window on the left. Here the old wooden lintel is bending under the weight of the wall and at the moment is being supported by a couple of Acrow props.
