Work has at long last started on this section of Antrim and for once it is being restored and not knocked down. It will be used for businesses which is great but the most important thing is the building is staying. WELL DONE I hope everyone else follows your example.
It's the 10th April and this is the corner of High Street and Bridge Street and the restoration work has already begun.
Here you can see one of the house's front in Bridge Street is nearly finished.
This building is going to have all the plaster removed back to the brickwork to see what it's like, before it's replastered. They now think the building is from the 1600's and not the 1700's.
