The Past photograph was taken from the tower of All Saints Parish Church in 1955, this was so could you see John Kirk's fleet of vehicles. Kirk's was not only in High Street but went the same again up Railway Street and naturally enough back then it was called by the locals 'Kirk's Corner'.
