This all that is left of Antrim Castle, the tower, the rest being pulled down by the council. the Past picture gives you an idea of the size of the castle, before it was destroyed by fire on the 28th October 1922 during a Grand Ball. It must have been magnificant, can you imagine what it must have been like then, when they had a Ball, the horses and carriages and the gentlemen in their refinery and the ladies in their beautiful ballgowns.
